No matter how you greet people you are in for a treat if you join us in April, when the members of the American Rose Society have the honor of hosting the international meeting of the World Federation of Rose Societies in Houston, Texas. Every threeyears these avid rose lovers from around the globe gather to share their love of the rose and promote rose growing. In 1994 the WFRS delegates voted to accept the ARS invitation to host the first convention of the new millennium. Since then, members of the Houston Rose Society have been working on the "event of the century." The last time the members of the ARS hosted its international co-horts was in Chicago in 1973.
