Chlorpromazine (CPZ), which is a phenothiazine formulated as CPZ hydro-chloride, is a typical anti-psychotic prescribed mainly in elderly population as a sedative. Photoallergic contact dermatitis because of this drug has been classically described in health workers who become sensitized by manipulating this drug (1, 2). We present three patients presenting eczematous pulpitis as the only manifestation of photoallergic contact dermatitis because of CPZ. No similar cases have been described, and we believe this is likely to be an underdiagnosed entity (Table 1).
