摘要

The rigorous theory of excitation of arbitrary irregular waveguides with rectangular cross-section, based on the operation of mapping of an irregular internal surface of the waveguide into the regular cylinder with rectangular section is formulated. With application of the general excitation equations of the waveguide, the three-dimensional nonlinear self-consistent theory of the relativistic TWT-0 is developed. The results of calculations and optimization of efficiency of the TWT, the block-off filter, and dispersion performance of the periodic rectangular waveguide are presented.
