摘要

Recently LED lights have come to be used in outdoor such as street lights and security lights. For those LED lights, diffuser was not mounted due to the energy-saving and cost limitation. Therefore, discomfort glare caused by non-uniform LED luminaire has become serious problems. In this essay, the background of the evaluation experiments for the discomfort glare, as well as the evaluation experiments of visibility and suitability to environmental lighting are introduced. Also, it is shown with the trend of the CIE2015 Manchester that discomfort glare and visibbility of LED lighting are internationally up to date problems.
