Spatial and temporal regularities of the migration of technogenic salts in different soils of forest-tundra and northern taiga ecosystems of Western Siberia polluted in the course of oil and gas mining are examined. It is shown that the accumulationof salts takes.place not only in mineral, but also in hydromorphie organic and organomineral soils (peaty and peaty-gley soils and peat bog soils). Thus, technogenic halpgenesis can be, considered a typomorphic process that affects soil properties in vast areas. Sharp contests in the properties of geochemically conjugated soils dictate the complexity of the geochemical structure of salt-affected areas. The migration of salts under the impact of capillary forces and via diffusion may be directed'upwards,i.e., against the gravity force.
