The distinctive property of light granulametric composition's Kulunda southern chernozems is very high soil mass microcrumbness with unstable macrostructure and low water sustainability. Some correlation connections were established between humus content, free forms of iron and crumbs' size. Iron-organic compounds cement firmly soil elementary parts in soil microaggregates due to high content of humus and free forms of iron in the <0,25 mm fraction of chernozem's granulametric composition.
