摘要

In part 1 of this study, we showed that the Plug-in method was effective as a new grafting method based on the results of grafting experiments with tomato (Lycopersicon esculenlum Mill.). We also found that it was important to process theseedlings with high accuracy and to make them smooth based on the results of cutting experiments using apparatuses for shaping the scion and stock. Therefore, in this paper we describe new apparatuses for shaping the scion and stock that can make themmore accurately and smoother than could the previous apparatuses, and report on its performance.
