摘要

I have been head of the Cataloging Department at Wake Forest University's Z. Smith Reynolds Library since 1989. My career covers a span of nearly 20 years and includes positions as assistant head of cataloging, catalog librarian, and library technician. I have been professionally very active. I have served as treasurer for ALA's Black Caucus since 1992 and as treasurer of the North Carolina Library Association since 1991. I have also served as chair of ALCTS' Heads of Cataloging Discussion Group, North Carolina SOL1NET Users Group, and have held other offices in local and state library associations.
