We analyze the performance of optical CDMA Systems with double optical hard-limiters (DOHL's) using equal-weight orthogonal (EWO) signaling. The Systems assign the one chip time-shifted versions of optical orthogonal codes (OOC's) to the transmission of hits "0" and "1," respectively. We show that the systems with DOHL's using EWO signaling have better performance than the systems with single optical hard limiter (SOHL) using on-off orthogonal (OOO) signaling or EWO signaling. We also show that when the number of simultaneous users N is larger than the value of weight K, the systems with DOHL's using EWO signaling have worse performance than the systems with DOHL's using OOO signaling. Moreover, we show that when N ≤ K the systems with DOHL's using FWO signaling liave almost the same performance as those using OOO signaling.
