摘要

To navigate people to each destination in an indoor environment, a navigation information should be presented to them individually. The navigation information is generated by an interaction between people and the indoor environment based on a wireless communication. This paper describes infrared communication system for the construction of indoor navigation system. In the public space like hospital, museum and underground shopping center, the infrared communication is the most safe. But, quality of the communication becomes lower by various kinds of disturbance. In this paper, a robust communication format has been specified against the disturbance by several kinds of experiment. It is confirmed that the reliability of infrared communication is enhanced well by this format.
