The recent developments in the Middle East are fascinating (as always). The current regional shift in societietal structure (perhaps towards representative democracy) is resulting in huge uncertainty. However, if democracy is introduced there may be a hope that the current deadlock between Israel and the other more extreme regional political players changes and could produce a new and safer regional stability.
