This month's outlook focuses on capital costs and long-term prices, largely relevant given that the industrial metals sector is a highly capital intensive industry. By any measure, the materials industry is capital intensive. Consequently, capital costs and changes thereto can have large impacts on industry wide returns. Rising capital costs encompass two separate and distinct phenomena.

Exchange Rate Pass-Through in Transition Economies: The Case of the Republic of Macedonia Abstract: This paper investigates the relative costs and benefits associated with introducing a different exchange rate regime in the Republic of Macedonia.
