Asia is at the centre of the global resources industry and consequently, forms an increasing focus of our global view. Indeed, this year, Asia will account for around 60% of global commodities demand, as well as dominating commodity supply of refined metals and steel. Notwithstanding, the US economy still exerts a seemingly disproportionate influence on the materials sector. This is set to continue – for the next few years at least.
