摘要

In cattle breeding 90% of the income earned is obtained from reproduction and yields related to reproduction, but completion of physiological growing is necessary for this. As physiological growing is completed only after a long period, animals lead much of their lives as nonproductive. Shortening this non-productive period is very important in economic terms, therefore. That is why cattle have to be first inseminated at a certain age, which varies according to breed, and when they reach 75% of mature liveweight.
