摘要

Eadha Enterprises (Eadha) is one of the leading aspen conservation charities in the UK. Eadha is the old Gaelic name for aspen, as it appears in the Ogham Tree Alphabet. Eadha literally means 'the most buoyant one' and hints at one of aspen's primarytraditional uses, in the construction of oars and paddles. Eadha was originally set up with funding from Oxfam's UK Innovation Fund, with a remit to investigate the potential of using aspen to remediate and revegetate the vast tracts of vacant and derelict land, included contaminated sites, across Central Scotland.
