摘要

Reliability acceptance sampling plans (RASPs) play an important role for decisions on acceptability of a lot of products, based on the reliability characteristic of the product. Discussing the role played by Type I and Type II censoring schemes in reliability tests, this article considers the problem of determining RASPs for the Weibull distribution under generalized hybrid censoring schemes (GHCSs) in which the generalized version of both Type I and Type II censoring schemes are used. The model and maximum likelihood estimators based on Type I and Type II GHCSs data are presented in detail with the optimum design of RASPs under Type I and Type II GHCS. In order to illustrate the proposed methodology, a real life-application is considered and the results presented.
