For more than 40 years, Mount Laurel Animal Hospital in New Jersey has been a fixture in the community. Locals know the hospital as the place to go for primary and emergency care for their pets, as well as a place to enjoy nature on the farm behind the hospital.In 2004, just out of veterinary school, Robert Mankowski, VMD, joined the bustling practice as an associate veterinarian. In 2013, he partnered with Christopher Torre, VMD, to purchase the hospital. By this time, they were open 24 hours a day, with primary care and 1 specialty offered. The 2 owners agreed that growing the specialtyside of the practice made good sense, and before long they had more than 100 full-time employees sharing just over 9000 square feet.
