摘要

AIMs: Enhanced aerobic glycolysis is a motivation of fibroblast-myofibroblast transdifferentiation (FMT), leading to kidney fibrosis. 3-Bromopyruvate (3-BrPA) is a glycolysis inhibitor and has fibrosis-protected effect in liver. This study aims to explore the effects of 3-BrPA on aerobic glycolysis and kidney fibrosis in a unilateral ureteral obstruction (UUO) mice model and transforming growth factor-beta 1(TGF-beta 1)-stimulated normal rat kidney fibroblast (NRK-49F) cell model in vitro.
