摘要

I take issue with the wording used around Tommy's new Tell Me Why campaign and its media coverage (Seven Days in Medicine, 14 September). Saying that "a shocking 71% of parents are nottold why" ratherthan "the cause remains unknown in 71% of cases" is deliberately emotive, implyingthat healthcare professionals are withholding information. The people who care for women experiencing pregnancy loss are highly trained and go to great lengths to address holistic needs—they should not be portrayed otherwise.
