摘要

The present investigation was carried-out to study the effect of nitrogen, phosphorus, and FYM with and without bio-fertilizers on the nitrate reductase activity and chlorophyll content in wheat under saline phase. Nitrate reductase activity and chlorophyll content increased with increasing the levels of nitrogen (0, 60 and 120 kgN ha~(-1)) as well as the phosphorus (0 and 60 kg P_2O_5 ha~(-1)) and FYM (0 and 20 t ha~(-1)). Bio-fertilizers also helped in improving the nitrate reductase activity and chlorophyll content. The interaction effect of nitrogen levels with P and with FYM was positive. The interaction of nitrogen, phosphorus and FYM with bio-fertilizers was also positive in both the years. Among the bio-fertilizers, the Azotobacter performedbetter than the Azospirillium and no inoculation.
