For two weeks beginning July 23, OSHA brought a dozen additional inspectors into New York City to conduct proactive inspections of high-rise construction sites, cranes and other locations to combat the rise in the city's construction fatalities. Twenty employees have died in construction-related accidents in New York City since January.
