摘要

Despite the different needs and work expectations of today’s multigenerational workforce, Mercer's 2019 Global Talent Trends report reveals certain drivers unite the generations, such as being able to balance work and life in order to thrive. Job security is the main reason all generations stay with their employer, and competitive compensation is the main reason they leave. Yet, with such a wide span of generations in the workplace, it is a challenge for organizations to manage a multigenerational workforce. Mercer suggests the following “new rules” for attracting three of those cohorts: Generation Y (Millennials), Generation X, and Baby Boomers.
