Employers take note: The hiring process doesn't necessarily end when a candidate accepts the offer, new research from global staffing firm Robert Half shows. In the survey, more than a quarter of workers (28 percent) said they have backed out of an offer after initially saying yes. The top cities where workers have gone back on their word include San Diego, San Francisco, Chicago and Houston. The online survey was developed by Robert Half and conducted by an independent research firm. It includes responses from more than 2,800 workers 18 years of age or older and employed in office environments in 28 major U.S. cities.
