Without the close, you have nothing. Until you make the close, you have no sale, no business and no commission. Even worse, the customer may go to your competition. All salespeople know they should close deals, but many struggle with it. One reason for that struggle is sales call reluctance - the fear of asking for the order. There are several different kinds of sales call reluctance. That is an entire article in itself that I will write for the next issue.
