At Roundwood Solutions, we have established our own treatment facility to help save the environment from the oxic effects of traditional post preservative treatments. IWe have avoided the use of heavy metals like copper, chromium and arsenic as used in CCA treated posts.We have reduced the high odour and skin burning effect of traditional HTC creosote treatments.We have produced a post treated from the inside to the outside. The term we like to use is 'full cell treatment'.It makes each post:more durable, preventing insect attack from borers and the like;longer lasting, moisture uptake goes into treated timber not untreated areas;user friendly, limited odour, not greasy, easier handling.
