The effect of inoculation of activated sludge with cultures of Rhodococcus erythropolis and Methylobacterium organophilum on degradation of methanol, ethylene glycol, p-xylene, and dimethyl terephthalate, as well as reduction of the toxic load on the sludge cenosis was studied.
