摘要

A new species, Allochernes fimusensls n. sp., collected from cattle dung (a rare habitat for the genus), is described.The lamprochernetines recorded from Iran, Pselaphochernes Beier, 1932, Megachernes Beier, 1932, Lamprochernes Tomosvary, 1882, and Allochernes Beier, 1932 can be differentiated by the shape of coxa IV, the position of a tactile seta on tarsus IV, and theshape of the female spermathecae; for example, in Pselaphochernes species, the female spermathecae contain two stout, short, and distinctly curved branches, each branch terminates in a large vesicle; and in Megachernes species, the spermathecal branchesare very long and convoluted, each branch is slightly expanded terminally. The spermathecae of the genera Lamprochernes and Allochernes, which are widely distributed in the Middle East and Central Asia, contain two medium to short and thin branches, each branch terminating in a small vesicle, except in A. brevipilosus Beier, 1967 and/L peregrinans Mahnert, 2009 (Mahnert 2009). Noticeably, the structure of their spermathecae has not been described for the other Allochernes species (Mahnert 2009). Lamprochernes can be separated from Allochernes by the following combination of characters: the presence of a long tactile seta on tibia and tarsus IV (no tactile seta in Allochernes); vestiture setae long with fine denticulations (short, stout, and distinctly dentate in Allochernes); and posterior transverse furrow on carapace absent (both furrows present in Allochernes) (Beier 1932; Hoff 1956).
