摘要

Mitochondrial DNA COII gene sequence analysis and RAPD analysis were carried out to assess the phylogenetic relationships of three colored strains of common carps, e.g., the ornamental (Koi) carp from Japan, and the Oujiang color common carp as well as the Long-fin common carp from China. Phylogenetic trees from two methods indicated Oujiang color common carp and Long-fin common to be non-monophyletic, and Koi carp might have originated from China and shared a common ancestor with Oujiang color common carp. Meanwhile, the comparative results showed that genetic diversity of Oujiang color common carp was higher than that of Long-fin common carp in China
