摘要

Together, the two countries are expected to contribute 50 of non-OPEC crude output increases in 2013, but persistent infrastructural and pricing issues continue to plague both markets. In Brazil, state-owned Petrobras is struggling under a significant debt-load, and struggling, too, to divest foreign assets, the proceeds from which are intended to bolster the company's $237B investment scheme through 2017. Governmentally-controlled fuel prices have driven Petrobras into the red this year, with 2012 output also expected to drop for the first time in seven years. This bodes ill for IEA predictions of 190K b/d production growth in 2013.
