摘要

The PCTC (Pure Car and Truck Carrier) 'Toscana' is the tenth vessel in a series of ten built by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Nagasaki, Japan and was delivered in the middle of 2009. The vessel is specially suited for cars and trucks but she has also flexibility to carry project cargo and containers. 'Toscana' has a total capacity of 6,542 cars (RT43). 'Toscana' has a basic complement of 27 and is a sistership to 'Torrens', 'Toledo', 'Toronto', 'Topeka', 'Tombarra', 'Tortugas', 'Tomar', 'Toreador' and 'Torino'. The ship was built under survey to DNV (Det Norske Veritas) with the following designations: "DNV +1A1, Car Carrier (MCDK) E0 TMON".
