Now distanced from its super-sized Celica origins, the Supra is an icon among Japanese car enthusiasts. Its ability to make mega-power alongside starring roles in console games and on TV and movie screens give Toyota's coupe a legacy truly worthy of a super-hero! Alongside the smaller Celica, the Supra spearheaded Toyota's performance car ambitions from the late 1970s to the early 2000s. Reborn in 2019 and sharing components with the BMW Z4, the six-cylinder version of the fifth-generation car stays true to its 1970s recipe, even if a few ingredients have a German flavour. Almost five decades since it first arrived, the Supra is as super as it ever was.
