Induction motor speed estimation based on neural modelling method

摘要

Sensorless control of induction motor drives requires knowledge of the instantaneous value of the rotor speed. Various methods of the rotor speed estimation have been recently used based on the mathematical models off the induction machine, on nonlinear phenomena of the motor and based on neural networks. This papers deals with the application of real-time adaptive identification of the motor speed. The method based on neural network approach and backpropagation algorithm has been tested for various reference values of the motor. The influence of main coefficients of this algorithm on the speed estimation error has been checked, especially in the case of changing parameters of the motor. The results of simulations and laboratory experiments (realised on the base of TMS320C31 digital signal processor) are presented and the estimation quality is evaluated.
