Novo Resources' aircore drilling at its Becher project, about 28km along from the De Grey Mining 10.6 million ounce Mallina gold project, has delivered more promising intercepts such as 3m at 5.23 grams per tonne from 9m and 15m at 0.61gpt from surface, including 6m at 1.16gpt. The company is drilling under 10-20m of cover, targeting intrusion-related and structural targets at the Heckmair intrusion and Irvine shear corridor prospects, with the work planned to support deeper drilling at the Egina camp.
