The results of an investigation of Nd:YAG pulsed laser heating effect of Fe_(80)Si_(11)B_9 alloy on microstructure, magnetic properties and magnetic domain structure, are presented in this work. The nanocrystallization process and the changes of the structure caused by laser treatment are described. The morphology of crystalline phases have been analyzed and the phase identification has been carried out. The crystallization process of amorphous material begins from the nucleation of nano-sized alpha-Fe(Si) crystals then Fe_2B crystallizes in the form of tetragonal or orthorombic phases. The investigations have shown that using of relatively low laser beam energy with subsequent overlapping of heated areas allowed us to get uniformly nanocrystalized material. Moreover, it has been shown, that the laser heating of FeSiB alloy, which provides considerable refinement of its microstructure (nanostructure), does not significantly changes its magnetic properties as compared to amorphous alloy.
