Galloway of Princeton, New Jersey, won the election for president-elect and becomes the first woman ever to hold this position in ASCE. Galloway will assume the presidency in November 2003. Louis C. Aurigemma of Coral Springs, Florida, has been elected vice president of Zone II, and Norman L. Buehring of Calabasas, California, will become vice president of Zone IV. Vice presidents serve a two-year term. The newly elected directors serve three-year terms. All of the officers will begin their terms at the business meeting scheduled for the 2002 Civil Engineering Conference and Exposition, which will be held November 3-7 in Washington, D.C.
