I am the proud owner of a new house. Luckily, the property has been totally refurbished - so no decorating was required (phew!). Instead, I have freshly painted white walls, both inside and out -a blank canvas for me to 'express myself upon. However, the task of choosing colours that 'define' me is no easy feat -especially as a cautious first time homeowner. It took me a week to build up the courage to drill a hole in the wall for a mirror. Painting an entire room could take months of courage.
