Samson has launched Saturn-12, a 12-strand single braid tow line made of Dyneema fibre said to have significantly greater strength as a result of its new proprietary coating.Samson has improved upon its flagship product AmSteel-Blue, an easy handling, high strength, and lightweight towline already possessing abrasion resistance through its construction of Dyneema, a high modulus polyethylene (HMPE) fibre, with a fully penetrating coating of Samthane Type E. This has resulted in an increase in residual strength by as much as 15-20% due to a decrease in internal abrasion.
