Kreuz Subsea of Singapore has awarded a contract to SMD, the UK-based designer and manufacturer of remotely operated vehicle systems with an office in Singapore, for the supply of two general purpose 125hp Quasar workelass EOV systems rated to a water depth of 2000m. The systems, suited to drill support, survey and construction tasks, also include SMD's Compact Tophat tether management system and SMD designed 8t A-frame launch and recovery system.
