Petrofac Resources has acquired Amerada Hess(Malaysia PM 304),the Amerada Hess subsidiary that operates and owns a 40.5% interest in the Cendor field in block PM304 offshore Peninsular Malaysia.The deal effectively makes Petrofac operator of Cendor,located in the northeast corner of the block in 70m of water with principal producing horizons in the Middle Miocene sands.
