Input/Output, Hydro Technology Ventures and Reservoir Innovation have formed a JV company to develop, pilot and commercialise a full-wave seismic system for permanent monitoring of offshore reservoirs. I/O will license technology to the JV, contribute 'key personnel', and capture pre-set margins for software and hardware, including VectorSeis seismic sensors, while HTV will provide the capital for the development programme and identify an asset within parent company Hydro's E&P portfolio as a site for field trials of the new system.
