Modern screens in the bulk solids industry are often linearly dimensioned. This means that an increase in production leads to a linear increase in the screening area (or the number of screens). With a well-devised combination of inclined screens with a high specific load and flat screens, which can achieve a high degree of purity with reduced capacities, high product qualities with low investment and operating costs can be achieved. This is shown based on the example of fertilizer.
