摘要

The determination of Mn in whole blood and urine by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry (GFAAS) was studied without modifiers and with Mg(NO_3)_2, Pd(NO_3)_2, Pd + Mg as modifiers. Multiplicative matrix effects were present in all situations, except when using Pd(NO_3)_2 only. In this case, the calibration could be performed using aqueous analytical solutions. Recoveries were close to 100% with detection limits of 0.6 #mu#g/L for both types of samples.
