Named after the King of Aethiopia in Greek mythology, Cepheus is probably best known for giving us the prototype of the first Cepheid variable star. For imagers, the constellation provides a wealth of fantastic open clusters, galaxies and nebulae that can suit all sorts of telescopes, filters and settings.
