摘要

The standard IEC 61499 is an appropriate methodology for modeling Distributed Control Systems (DCSs). It is mainly applied to factory automation but its utilization can be extended to other application fields. This research work proposes a widespread use of IEC 61499 by modeling Avionic Distributed Fuel Control Systems (ADFCSs) involving smart components. The research framework is a European Research Project which main target is to change the actual centralized control architecture to a fully distributed one. This new system architecture involves a fieldbus and distributed intelligence on the fuel system components that are automata-embedded controllers in mechanical fuel components. According to these new fuel system structure, IEC 61499 is perfectly suitable since other standards such as IEC 61131 lacks mechanisms for managing distributed control applications. The methodology proposed in this paper, generalizes and systematizes the layered control software development for smart components of ADFCSs.
