The 2000 Colloquium of the Atlantic Geoscience Society was held at the Fredericton, New Brunswick, on February 11 and 12.2000, in conjunction with the Environmental Earth Science Division of the Geological Association of Canada. On behalf of the societies, we thank Tom Al and Bruce Broster, meeting chairmen, and their organizing committee for providing an excellent meeting. We also wish to thank New Brunswick Department of the Environment, Noranda Mining and Exploration Brunswick Mining Division, Three-D Consultants Limited, and Universal Systems Limited for their sponsorship.In the following pages we are pleased to publish abstracts of talks and posters of the joint meeting.
