Cumberland County beef farmer Frank Foster once said if all the beef crossing the Nova Scotia-New Brunswick border were "on the hoof," Nova Scotians would be amazed and appalled. Not since the days of the massive cattle drives depicted on black and white TV westerns would such a sight be seen. The truth is thousands of head of beef cattle are entering this province unseen because they comes frozen in boxes.
