ONE MONDAY morning, Garry Groundwater decides he needs to find some Victorian examples of studies looking at groundwater and surface water body interactions. He has heard about the NRM Toolbar from a contact at his local Catchment Management Authority. He wants to know more. The NRM Toolbar, he has been told, provides a natural resource management (NRM) specific search engine as well as access to other specialised databases. So Groundwater visits and tests the search engine with a Boolean phrase search: "groundwater surface water interaction" AND Victoria.
