摘要

Data analysis and visualization is a wide field and there are a lot of different products in use even in the same department. A more cost-saving alternative would be to use one base product. The specialization of the available products either is not flexible enough or not specialized enough, but AMS developed a different approach with jBEAM: framework technology. jBEAM is a framework like Eclipse with all the advantages of expandability but specifically featured for test-data analysis and visualization. Based on the jBEAM framework, it can be used as follows: local Windows desktop applications; client - server applications (Windows/Linux/Solaris); interactive web-based applications; and customized applications using jBEAM as a library created by system integrators.
