Geoffrey has been working for 25 years for the Botanic Gardens & Domain Trust across two sites, the Royal Botanic Garden, Sydney, and the Australian Botanic Garden. He achieved a level 5 qualification through Ryde and Richmond TAFE Colleges and has been a Casual Teacher of Arboriculture for the last seven years at Richmond TAFE collegeThe Australian Botanic Garden is not a typical horticultural display garden. Although over 400 hectares, horticultural displays and arboreta throughout the site are interspersed with remnant native grasslands and Cumberland Plain Woodland. We call it a'Woodland Garden'. Some of our horticultural plantings occur under the cover of some of the largest remnant trees in South West Sydney.
