Julie is a horticulturalist at the Tondoon Botanic Gardens in Gladstone, Queensland. The Gardens feature the plants of the Port Curtis area.My story begins in 1996, a bright, clear day in November when I, Julie Keyes, skilled as a horticulturalist in exotics, began in the Tondoon Botanic Gardens nursery. During the years I developed an overwhelming passion for the gardens, for the native flora and the natural environment which the Botanic Gardens embodies.
